ABOUT US
From Shuafat to Hope - The Journey of Two Brothers
Mahmoud and Mohannad grew up in Shuafat Refugee Camp, where limited opportunities and daily tensions shaped their lives. At 15, Mahmoud discovered capoeira during a demonstration in Jerusalem and immediately invited his brother. What began as curiosity soon became a passion and a lifeline.
The Turning Point
Despite financial obstacles, they trained diligently, eventually studying with international masters. At 21, instead of leaving for opportunities abroad, they chose to return to their community and establish Menino Bom Association. Their mission: to share the transformative power of capoeira with children facing the same hardships.
